The purpose of this web page is to help you, no matter what state you live in, to learn how to become more involved and effective with politics and advocate about the issues that concern you most.  This web page is meant to make information finding simpler as the links lead directly to the up-to-date Yahoo News:  Politics & Elections web pages.  NH residents,  click here  to go directly to the NH General Court where you can search for bills, see the schedule for upcoming hearings, view the state budget and more...

Click-on the flag to get information about: elections,  the candidates, voter registration and where to vote in your state 

Click-on the star to learn about the Legislative process:

1.  The 4 basic types of legislation bills.

2.  The steps that a bill must go through. 

                   

Click-on the phone or the mailbox to go to a link where you can get tips on communicating with elected officials.  Get ideas on what to say when you telephone.  If you want to write a letter, learn how to address it and say what is on your mind.

Find out the status of current bills in Congress by clicking-on the check-box.

Advocate your issues to Congress!  Enter your zip code in the space below and click-on "GO"

Write to your state Legislators!  Enter your zip code in the space below and click-on "GO"

New Hampshire only:  Click-on the capitol building for NH General Court.  Search the status of bills and view schedule for upcoming hearings and more.
