Here are more details about our two top priority goals:

Institutions:  Close Them!   Is a goal with many activities.  Our main activity is to produce a film and publish a book giving us first-hand stories from former residents of Laconia State School.   While Laconia is now closed and people are living in our communities, our members are dedicated to getting out the message that all institutions across the world should be closed.  Young Adult Self-Advocacy Conference sponsored by the Generation Y-Not Committee is an exciting goal for young people to gather together and learn new skills including how to advocate for him or herself.  Our conference is planned for November 6, 2009 in Concord with the theme as Relationships:  Work, Love, Play, Life.
