Petition For Medicaid - Details/Instructions
The Executive Committee of the board of People First of New Hampshire has approved and finalized the Petition for Medicaid.  Now, it is up to all of us to circulate the petition for signatures.  Please note that the petition is written in language that ANY citizen can understand and sign and it is not specific to represent just the voice of people who experience disabilities, but all citizens who are concerned.

You have two choices:
1.  You may  use the enclosed petition for collecting signatures.  If you need to make copies, however, PLEASE NOTE:  The second page of the petition must be copied onto the reverse side of the first page.  A second page of the petition is not valid if left standing alone with just signatures.  Therefore, the language of the petition must always be on the reverse side of the signatures.  Please make as many copies (front and back) of the petition as you like in order to distribute widely for signatures.  Click-here for the PDF version of the petition.

2.  Or, you may choose to go to the following web link to read and sign the petition, online.  You should receive a confirmation email that you have signed the petition (your online signature will be visible by viewers, but your email address can remain private).  You will be given the opportunity to forward the online petition link to other friends and colleagues.  The link to the petition is:  http://www.PetitionOnline.com/Medic8d/petition.html

You can’t sign both the online petition and the paper copy, but you can help to forward either along for others to sign one.  If there are significant numbers of signatures, we may place the petition in local papers for more global education to citizens of our state.

We welcome comments and suggestions.  Please mail signed petitions back to People First of NH by November 20  (note, this has been changed from November 22).
