Nate

This group means a lot to me because it teaches me how to get around on my own and meet new people.  It will also help me get a job.  I want to be able to speak for myself and for everyone, too.

Tara

Self-Advocacy means speaking up for ourselves and meeting new people.  I speak-up for myself  by  telling people not to push me around.  I enjoy  meeting new people and getting to know everyone.

Olivia

I  come to these meetings to meet new people and to learn about everyone else.  What it means is to talk up for myself.  Sometimes when I am having a hard time or, when bullies make fun of me, I tell them how I feel.

Jillian

I come to these meetings to  meet people and talk for myself so that people can know about me.  Here, I talk about myself so I can stand-up for myself so other people don’t talk for me.

Rachel

I go to these meetings because I really don't know how to stick-up for myself and going to these meetings gives me a chance to do that.  Every time I go to one of these meetings, I spread my wings a little bit further and now I feel that I don't have to be scared to stick-up for myself because I know with the great friends I've got, anything's possible.  I just got to believe, that's all.

Tracy

I started the Relationship Group for my senior project.  I wanted to do this because other people need to learn how to speak up for themselves and each other.
