Who Should Attend:  

  • Anyone wishing to know more about the voting process and voter rights  
  • People who are or will be 18 and want to know about rights, guardianship, and voting 
  • People who want to have more information and control over their own finances
  • People who have a guardian and would like to know what kinds of decisions they can and cannot make, or changing  guardianship orders.

Our Presenters Are:

Voter Education

  • Roberta Gallant is one of the co-founders of People First of NH, a member and officer of the Capitol City Self-Advocacy Group and is Self-Advocate Consultant for People First of NH
  • Tammy Mills is a member of the Upper Valley Neighbors Group,  the NH Council on Developmental Disabilities and is Self-Advocate Consultant for People First of NH

Guardianship and Representative Payee

  • Kenneth Nielsen has practiced as an attorney for a non-profit housing agency, spent 13 years in private practice, and for the last 9 years has been with the Office of Client and Legal Services with the Department of Health and Human Services.  Ken has represented people who experience disabilities and organizations for over 20 years.
